2011 CSPG Fall Star Party
October 24-30 , 2011

SAVE THE DATE!!!

Star Party Electrical Note: All attendees will have "Astro-Electric" included in your registration fees. "Astro-Electric" means electricity to power telescopes, imagers, and associated astronomy equipment -- not space heaters, refrigerators, and big screen TV's.  Additionally, there are over 40 RV electrical hookups ranging from 20A - 50A available for an additional cost of $75 (on the registration form) that can be reserved first-come, first-served basis.

IMPORTANT INSURANCE AND LEGAL ATTENDANCE NOTICE
Each year CSPG purchases a special event insurance policy to cover The Fall Star Party.  There have been SIGNIFICANT changes in our 2010 policy. In past years, attendee's have been allowed to setup on multiple fields. The insurance company is stipulating that due to the growing size and complexity of our event (RV's, electrical hookups, power outlets, running water, showers, power cords on the field, night time operations, on site food preparation, low light conditions, etc.) the only area coverage will be provided is on the CSPG observing field. No other adjacent CAV property will be covered by this special event policy during the week. As such, if you plan to attend The Fall Star Party you must be setup and located only on the designated field. We will no longer be able to allow people to register and set up on alternate property.  It is imperative that you understand that if you register but choose to set up on that field, you will not be allowed to come on site and no refunds will be given.  There will be no exceptions to the front field.  CSPG is not trying to be difficult, however, we must adhere to these new guidelines in order not to jeopardize coverage and protection for those setup in properly designated areas. Submission of this registration constitutes your understanding of this new policy.
HOTEL / OFF-SITE ATTENDEES - We understand that each year, a number of attendees do not camp on the field and either stay in area hotels or with off-site hosts.  This has been and will still be allowed provided the registered attendee is setup with their equipment on the CSPG Observing Field and adheres to the CSPG Policies and Rules for the designated parking and after dark departures.
